Hidden in a wooded valley on the edge of Exmoor, the Arlington estate houses numerous extraordinary collections.

The 12 hectares of grounds (30 acres) include the formal Victorian garden, which produces fruit, vegetables and flowers for the house and tearoom.

The 1,125 hectares (2,700acres) estate is noted for its lichens and wildlife, and includes a heronry. The Stable block contains the Trust’s internationally important collection of over 50 horse-drawn carriages.
